Gods and Monsters: Contemporary art in Historical Museums (Frieze Masters Talks 2015)

What place does contemporary art have in historical museums? Recent years have seen an increasing engagement with historical modes of representation on the part of both contemporary artists and curators. Drawing on their experience, a panel of European museum curators will consider both the opportunities and pitfalls of such endeavours.
